Set in 1985, Adam Sandler plays a nice guy with a broken heart who's stuck in one of the most romantic jobs in the world, a wedding singer. He loses all hope when he is abandoned at the altar by his fiancé. He meets a young woman named Julia (Drew Barrymore), who enlists his help to plan her wedding. He falls in love with her and must win her over before she gets married.

"My first Movie theater experience this year was at CityPlex 12 Newark. I went for the 11am movie viewing. The cost was only $6.50 for the early show. They do accept credit cards, just be sure to have your ID. The crowd at this time of the morning was definitely a mature audience. There is plenty of parking and the bus stop is right in front of the venue. The lobby area is spacious with a few tables & chairs. They have a game room & a photo machine. The concession stand serves the typical movie theater stuff and the bathroom was clean. I really enjoyed my visit there and plan on returning soon!" -Mimi Sullivan

It was great atmosphere it was wonderful to be back in the theater with other people and interactions the customer service was nice it wasn't expensive thanks for a good experience

Every time I go this place is barely packed and I don't know why... The movies are reasonably priced. Popcorn/snacks reasonably priced. And they offer free refills 💗 I see no reason not to go. And the Shaq theater has the comfiest seats! 😍 Try going there at least once you'll come back...promise. 👍

Welcoming atmosphere! With security on standby. The times that my family and I have visited city plex 12, the facilities, and waiting area has been clean. Theater floor have been clear of popcorn for the most part. Most importantly the movies have played without a hitch.

This cinema has been totally renovated, featuring very comfortable high back chairs. The sound systems are state of the art and on Tuesdays, the movies are only $6.50 all day. The prices are slightly lower than the competing cinemas. The cleanliness of the CityPlex is up to standards. I go here all the time and has yet to have been disappointed.
