TRUE TO THE GAME III, The third and most explosive installment of the groundbreaking True to the Game trilogy picks right up where True 2 left us. Gena's awakes to find that her mysterious savior is actually Quadir (Columbus Short) whom she thought was dead. Before happily ever after, Quadir gives Gena (Erica Peeples) 72 hours to go back to Philly to check on Bria (Iyana Halley) and Gah Git (Starletta DuPois) and let them know of her plans. The stakes are at an all-time high as the feds are putting the pieces together and the streets are scorching hot with a pair of crooked cops; Detective Joe Davis (Darius McCrary) and Detective Mike Grant (Kinyumba Mutakabbir) puts the squeeze on any and everybody they can catch, with their own motive, MONEY. Saleem (Jeremy Meeks) hasn't been able to reach Jerrell (Andra Fuller) and the pressure is mounting as someone from the crew is snitching. Can Gena get out of town and make a new life for herself?

"My first Movie theater experience this year was at CityPlex 12 Newark. I went for the 11am movie viewing. The cost was only $6.50 for the early show. They do accept credit cards, just be sure to have your ID. The crowd at this time of the morning was definitely a mature audience. There is plenty of parking and the bus stop is right in front of the venue. The lobby area is spacious with a few tables & chairs. They have a game room & a photo machine. The concession stand serves the typical movie theater stuff and the bathroom was clean. I really enjoyed my visit there and plan on returning soon!" -Mimi Sullivan

Every time I go this place is barely packed and I don't know why... The movies are reasonably priced. Popcorn/snacks reasonably priced. And they offer free refills 💗 I see no reason not to go. And the Shaq theater has the comfiest seats! 😍 Try going there at least once you'll come back...promise. 👍

Welcoming atmosphere! With security on standby. The times that my family and I have visited city plex 12, the facilities, and waiting area has been clean. Theater floor have been clear of popcorn for the most part. Most importantly the movies have played without a hitch.

This cinema has been totally renovated, featuring very comfortable high back chairs. The sound systems are state of the art and on Tuesdays, the movies are only $6.50 all day. The prices are slightly lower than the competing cinemas. The cleanliness of the CityPlex is up to standards. I go here all the time and has yet to have been disappointed.
